TimberRealm - Fine Turned Wood Art

TimberRealm.com was created to showcase the turned wood art objects produced by Richard Bento, of Kennebunk, Maine and Dunedin, Florida.

Bento has been creating finely turned wood vessels and other art objects for about four years from his home workshops in Maine and Florida. In that time, he has crafted his wooden bowls, hollow form vessels, urns and platters from the most beautiful woods of North America, South America and the Southern U.S..

As a student studying woodturning at the Dunedin Fine Arts Center in Dunedin, Florida, under Art Worth and Bob Anderson, he has achieved several prestigious awards in art shows for his work. His work is also displayed and can be purchased at the Tip Toe gallery in Kennebunk, Maine.

Bento’s wood art objects are crafted from fine exotic examples, such as teak, cypress, cherry, mahogany, camphor, rosewood, birch, maple and Norfolk Island Pine.
